Join Rabbi Gluck and the Israel Matters Committee
to celebrate Shabbat on

Friday, October 24, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. for Erev Shabbat Services,
and our special guest Rabbi Josh Weinberg, President of ARZA

Rabbi Weinberg will have much to share about the work of ARZA, the Reform Movement in Israel, and the upcoming World Zionist Congress Elections (for more information see the link below. ). He was ordained last November at the Hebrew Union College (HUC) in Jerusalem. Prior to entering HUC, in addition, to many other experiences, Rabbi Weinberg was a gifted teacher for Eisendrath International Experience High School in Israel, a phenomenal program offered for High School students to duplicate their high school academic schedule as well as have a deep and meaningful opportunity to explore Jewish Studies by learning Hebrew and history both in the classroom and by traveling all over Israel.

We are so thrilled that Rabbi Weinberg can join us! It is an opportunity not to be missed. Please plan to attend and we encourage you to bring your children.

World Zionist Congress Elections
In 2015, American Jews have the opportunity to cast their vote for representation in the World Zionist Congress (WZC)- a body that influences policies and the distribution of funds in Israel. Reform Jewish values - equality, pluralism and peace – can be more effectively championed by the WZO, if the Reform Movement has strong representation .
